Reiki is a form of energy healing that can be given to yourself or others. Through the gentle touch of your hands, placed in a systematic form, healing energy is drawn by the person receiving a session and used to create balance and a sense of well-being and wholeness.
It is my experience that through this gentle touch of prayer Reiki brings deep relaxation, relief of stress, clarity of mind and healing.
During a session you may feel yourself supported by God’s love. By opening to a deeper level beyond your conscious awareness, you may become aware of energy moving in your body.
It is my honor and privilege to be a conduit of God’s healing energy
and to participate with you in seeking healing for your body, mind and
soul through classes or personal sessions. There are three levels to
Reiki. All you
need to use Reiki for yourself or to share it with others is taught in
the First Degree class. Those who feel called to deeper service may choose
to take the next level, if together, we
discern that to be the right path.
Reiki Classes
Students learn the system of gentle, hands-on touch through lecture, discussion, sharing and time spent in giving and receiving Reiki. In the class you will learn:
To give yourself a treatment
The basic hand positions
Additional hand positions for specific areas
To treat other people, plants and animals
The history of Reiki
The class consists of approximately twelve hours and is taught in three-hour segments over three or four consecutive days.
Students, called to deeper service to others and the planet may take the Second Degree after practicing for six months or more. In this class you will learn
To deepen the power of the energy
Give a mental treatment
Send energy at a distance.
The class consists of six-nine hours and is taught in three-hour segments over a period of several days.
Students who wish to become a Reiki Master enter into a deep discernment process with a Master. Becoming a Master is an individual walk and a years-long process. Students work with the Master in creating classes, treatment of others, study, reflection and time spent with the Master in discussion and sharing.
As Master and student walk together, it becomes clear to both when the student is prepared for teaching this gift of healing. |
